Let’s start at the beginning, together. Sow the seeds for a lifetime love of swimming and essential swimming skills. Here’s what you can expect from our water familiarisation programs.

Swim & Play includes two swimming programs for babies through to toddler/kindergarten designed to teach your swimmer water familiarisation, water safety, and essential skills. Swimmers start with learning a range of skills, including kicking, floating and submerging, and progress to jumping into the pool and solo swimming.

The classes focus is for kids to feel confident in the water at a young age within a safe environment.

Can another family member or I take photos of my child during their lesson?

We understand how important it is to capture moments from your child’s swimming lessons. The use of phones and other recording devices at our schools are conditional to:

  • Seeking prior permission to any person who will appear in footage/photograph.
  • Seeking prior permission to publish any footage/photograph from any identifiable person/s.
  • Avoiding publishing personal details of individuals; this includes full names, contact information.
  • Under no circumstances must the devices be used in change rooms or bathrooms.
Will my child feel cold in the swimming pool?

Our indoor, heated pools manage water temperature at 32 degrees year ’round to ensure our babies, children, and adults swimmers are comfortable whether it’s raining, hailing or shining.

If you have any concerns about your child regulating their body temperature while in the water, add a thermal rashie to their swim kit.
